On October 29-30, InterMediaKT hosted the third transnational meeting of the ATTAIN project at its premises in Patras. This gathering brought together partners from various organizations to discuss key advancements and strategies for enhancing accessible tourism training through the development of a MOOC and a dedicated mobile application.
Meeting Highlights
During the two-day meeting, the partnership engaged in productive discussions, sharing updates and feedback that will help shape our digital learning tools. Each organization contributed valuable insights, ensuring a collaborative approach toward achieving our goals.
Key topics included:
- MOOC Development: We outlined the structure and content of the MOOC, designed to provide accessible learning experiences for tourism, social, and healthcare professionals. Detailed plans were made regarding technical specifications and timelines to ensure effective implementation.
- Mobile Application: Plans for a complementary mobile app were also discussed, focusing on how it can serve as a practical resource for learners seeking to develop their skills in accessible tourism.
Next Steps
With this meeting, we have established a clear roadmap for the ATTAIN project and assigned tasks to meet our upcoming milestones. Our aim remains to create digital learning tools that make accessibility training widely available, enabling professionals to better serve travelers with diverse needs and contribute to a more inclusive tourism industry.
